Lemon Ginger Tea

Ingredients

  • 2 inch piece of Ginger, peeled
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 3 c. hot water
  • optional: 1 T Raw Honey or Stevia

Directions

Grate an inch of ginger, put it in a pot with 3 cups of water. Bring to a boil. Reduce low, cover and simmer 5 minutes. Allow to cool another few minutes. Strain and pour into a mug, squeeze in the juice of half a lemon, and stir with raw honey or stevia. Drink daily, with meals.
