Getting Started

Yes, we do. The Initial Assessment is the first step to any of the Happy Belly® customized health coaching programs. During this virtual consultation, we take the time to review your personal history including your symptoms, recent lab work results and food journal, plus your current list of medications and supplements. The goal of this initial assessment meeting is to review your unique lifestyle so we can begin to investigate and identify what is needed to get your unique body to enjoy optimal health.

Happy Belly Health® is virtual. That means all meetings are conveniently located in the comfort of your home – or wherever you are at the time of appointment.

Nope. The free 15-minute Chat is offered for those who may have a few more questions about our programs. It is not required to get started.
Not to worry. We can use any tests you’ve already had done in the last 12 months. If you don’t have recent labs, we can still meet for your Initial Assessment and get started on the discovery process of your personalized health coaching program.
No. We do not take insurance. But some clients have been able to use their HSA or FSA dollars towards Happy Belly Health® services, depending on plan requirements.

Curb Your Cravings® Online Program

The Curb Your Cravings® Online Program (CYC for short!) is a virtual, 3-month or 6-month health program that will help you unlock the tools to a sustainable healthy lifestyle by sharing the slight day-to-day shifts that can make all the difference to reset your taste buds and rebalance your body… With the added bonus of weight loss. 

Curb Your Cravings® Online Program was previously called Reboot. The program foundation is similar, just with a new name and the latest health and wellness tips to help you.

Without having more context on your unique health concerns and goals, it is hard to say. But generally speaking, if you are looking to feel more vibrant, have more energy, sleep better, have a more varied diet… then YES! The Curb Your Cravings® Online Program is right for you. Yes, the Happy Belly Health® team helps people gain weight, too. Happy Belly Health® 1-2-1 Coaching, customized health coaching programs allow us to get specific to your needs – and it’s not always just weight loss we cover. Digestion

Yes, we do! Food sensitivities create inflammation which can make achieving your health and wellness goals very challenging. The body’s response to the intolerance also impacts your immune system. The Happy Belly Health® team can help you identify, heal, and reintroduce the foods that produce an inflammatory reaction. We will help you choose a testing method that makes sense for you. Whether it be a food elimination diet, an antibody test, or a cellular reactive test, we will help you identify what is causing your symptoms and provide the guidance for healing around it.

It depends. If dairy makes you sick, we’ll suggest avoiding dairy 100%. We will be working on creating the healing environment your body needs to get better and that may be a restricted time for a short time. However, our goal is to expand our diets and be able to eat a variety of foods and digest them well. 

Yes, that has been the case for most of our clients. Functional medicine is different. It’s often multiple imbalances that are contributing to your discomfort. We work with you to identify as many as possible and support you with our coaching expertise to strategically implement the changes needed. It’s never just one magic thing that happens and you’re better. Coaching is an essential part of this.

Our 10-Day cleanse is a deep liver cleanse. This includes a break from foods and habits that have caused our body stress, overload, and toxicity. The Happy Belly Health® Cleanse also includes specific detox-supplements to help promote healing, reset and detoxing of the body from toxins that buildup within our systems and cause harmful effects.

Great question. A deep liver cleanse, such as our Happy Belly Health® 10-Day Cleanse is not for everyone. In general, if you are under a doctor’s care, please seek the recommendation from your doctor before starting this or any cleanse. Also, if you are recovering from an illness, surgery, or are feeling “weak” in general, it’s not recommended to cleanse. Cleansing will most likely exacerbate any pre-existing conditions.

No. Hunger is not part of the Happy Belly Health® 10-day cleanse. While your diet will be limited for 10 days, you won’t be hungry. You’ll have all the protein, fat, and calories you need to function well.

It’s a 10-day strategic elimination diet with the main focus being to ease the burden on the liver. It’s 100% vegan, and becomes progressively limited. If you are accustomed to a high protein diet, not to worry, this vegan diet rich in vegetables will be protein and healthy fat rich, too. The cleanse includes a nutritional protein powder mix that provides detoxification support and nourishment throughout the cleanse.

Yes. The Happy Belly Health® team can be a resource to both women and men as they navigate through hormonal imbalance issues via our 1-2-1 customized health coaching programs.
Yes! The Happy Belly Health® team frequently works with pregnant clients to help them with health and wellness throughout their pregnancy. We work alongside your doctor to help determine what to eat, how often to eat, and how to enjoy an easier pregnancy avoiding high blood sugar and high blood pressure, heartburn, constipation, and fatigue.

Yes. We like to use data, like recent blood work to share what deficiencies we see. Once we understand your unique needs, we’ll educate you on specific, high-quality supplements that can help you feel balanced, vibrant… Simply put.. Fantastic!

Yes. Our favorite clients are busy professionals who are “too busy” to take care of themselves. We meet you where you’re at and help you to slowly become a more balanced person. Read Grace’s story.
That’s a great question. We only work with motivated people who are ready to look at how they can start prioritizing themselves and their health. You do all the work. We guide, support, and educate you in the process. Our most successful clients understand and adopt the idea that you get what you put into it and that if you’d like different results you will have to change. We’ll decide together when and how to start incorporating more movement into your daily life. Exercise is a great tool to improve digestion, mood and physical well-being. We don’t advocate using exercise alone as a permanent weight loss tool. Our clients enjoy a balanced life without becoming dependent on exercise to maintain a healthy weight.
Yes! Health is a journey and keeping focused on improvement is part of a healthy lifestyle. We tailor our work to meet you where you’re at and then take you to optimal health. We’ll guide you on what to maximize, what to minimize, and what to prioritize in order to experience optimal health.
