13 Food Triggers that Cause Headaches

It is well-known that specific foods trigger migraine attacks in some patients. Since the 1930s, hidden food allergy has been suspected to be linked to migraine. Several studies showed significant improvement when patients were put on an elimination diet. In a study, 85% of migraine sufferers became headache-free eliminating the top 13 food triggers. There was a dramatic reduction in frequency of headaches in patients who eliminated foods identified as sensitivities via IgG antibody testing.
