  •   Working with Happy Belly Health has truly been a life-changing experience! I initially reached out to Shanti in 2019 but wasn't ready at the time to begin my journey. When I reached out again at the end of 2022 Shanti remembered me and we had a great initial assessment call. Based on our call I felt she had a good understanding of my health concerns and goals if I were to move forward with the program. I decided to move forward with the 6-month Gold program she said she had the perfect coach for me and she couldn't have been more right!

    Cheryl was my coach and she was excellent! Before we got deep into the work I was asked to describe why I'm doing this program and if I had a word for the year. Immediately I thought about some typical answers to why I'm doing this: losing weight, lowering my blood pressure, lower cholesterol, etc. This is all true but when I really thought about it, my why was to be the best version of myself. I also chose my word for the year: Consistency. And with that, we were off!

    I spoke with Cheryl twice a month and from the start, I felt like she was knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely interested not only in my health journey but me as a person. I've tried a number of different diets in the past but my goal was to truly better educate myself on food and nutrition. I was provided with a number of articles, book suggestions, and recipes that helped me understand why Cheryl was making certain suggestions. In the first, two months I lost 10 lbs!

    In month three when we did my blood work I was able to really understand, where I needed to turn my focus. With some additional changes, discipline, and consistency over the next three months, I was able to come down another 10 lbs to my goal weight. 20 lbs in total weight loss and my blood pressure came down to 122/80 which is the lowest it's been in 10 years!

    Working with HBH has helped me to continue to work towards becoming the best version of myself. There is always more work to be done but it's progress, not perfection. Thank you to Shanti, Cheryl, and everyone at Happy Belly Health! You've changed my life for the best.

  •   I worked with Shanti for about a year and a half between mid 2021 to the beginning of 2023. It is a night and day shift. I came to Shanti wanting to lose about 10 pounds and yet I was also facing much bigger issues - water retention, stomach pain, caffeine addiction, sleeping 3-4 hours a night, low self image/esteem. Shanti's partnership helped me uncover hormonal and gut issues that I wasn't even aware of, and that were making weight loss harder. She also had me work on affirmations, hunger/satiety, and mirror work that helped me heal my relationship with food and myself. I am back to the weight I was before COVID, and I have a few more pounds to lose. I am so grateful to Shanti and her incredible energy and care for getting me to where I am today. I truly felt out of control and desperate for help - and today I feel safe in my body, I trust my body and am fitter than I've ever been. THANK you, Shanti.

  •   I have had an amazing experience with Happy Belly Health. After years of stomach issues, I finally took the plunge to spend the time and energy to figure out what I should and shouldn't be eating and how to feel better. I worked with both Shanti and Cheryl over the past 6 months and would recommend them both. Cheryl was my on-going coach and was supportive, collaborative, and honest. She never berated me for bad choices I had made, but instead focused on what to change for next week and how to learn from each experience. I feel like I finally have a program that works, including the way I eat, supplements I take, and overall food hygiene improvement. I am very grateful for all of their help!

  •   I've really enjoyed my experience going through Happy Belly Health's 6 month Curve Your Cravings program. I've been trying to lose weight for the longest and I work at an early stage startup so it's always been hard to find the time.

    Before starting Happy Belly Health, I had a general idea of what foods were healthy and what food wasn't, but I really didn't know the why. Happy Belly Health provided me amazing resources to learn more about what I was consuming and how to improve my diet and overall lifestyle.

    Sarah was my coach and we spoke twice a month and she was always encouraging and motivating me even when I didn't feel like I was putting in my best effort. As part of the program, I did a 10 day cleanse/detox eating mainly fruits and vegetables. Those 10 days were probably the most growth I've had as I've learn to love vegetables and I also lost 10 lbs!

    If you're someone like me that's super busy but still want to improve your health and live a healthy lifestyle, I highly recommend Happy Belly Health!

  •   Shanti, Kristina and Cheryl were all very helpful for me during my nine month journey with Happy Belly Health. I learned so much about nutrition, health, and how the body and brain works. After having twins I went on anti depressants and my main goal was to no longer be on these drugs. Kristina and Cheryl helped me wean off of these drugs in a safe way (and during Covid!). I learned so many other helpful tools that will serve me well throughout my lifetime. Thank you to everyone at Happy Belly Health!

  •   I spent almost 3 years in and out of doctors' office's trying to figure out why I had terrible stomach pains and digestive problems. Every time they couldn't find anything medically wrong with me I left in tears ready to give up. I came across Happy Belly Health via Yelp after trying to pursue a non-medical route for answers. I always thought I was eating "healthy enough" and thought I knew enough about nutrition but I was wrong. Shanti, Sarah, and Kristina helped to teach me more things about not only food but my body that I would have never known had I not sought help. Not only did my stomach and digestive problems go away but I lost weight, I have more energy, I eat better, and I know how to take care of my body like I never have before. Yes, we do. The Initial Assessment is the first step to any of the Happy Belly® customized health coaching programs. During this virtual consultation, we take the time to review your personal history including your symptoms, recent lab work results and food journal, plus your current list of medications and supplements. The goal of this initial assessment meeting is to review your unique lifestyle so we can begin to investigate and identify what is needed to get your unique body to enjoy optimal health.

Happy Belly Health® is virtual. That means all meetings are conveniently located in the comfort of your home – or wherever you are at the time of appointment.

The Free Discovery Call is only necessary to apply for the personalized 1-2-1 program. You can enroll in the Curb Your Cravings® and HBH 10-Cleanse without it.

No. We do not take insurance. But some clients have been able to use their HSA or FSA dollars towards Happy Belly Health® services, depending on plan requirements.

Yes, the Happy Belly Health® team helps people gain weight, too. Happy Belly Health® 1-2-1 Coaching, customized health coaching programs allow us to get specific to your needs – and it’s not always just weight loss we cover. Yes, we do! Food sensitivities create inflammation which can make achieving your health and wellness goals very challenging. The body’s response to the intolerance also impacts your immune system. That’s a great question. We help you discover where you are in the “stages of change” and what might be blocking you from making progress. If you find that you don’t actually want to change, even if you think you “should” then you might not be ready for coaching. 

We’ll decide together when and how to start incorporating more movement into your daily life. Exercise is a great tool to improve digestion, mood and physical well-being. We don’t advocate using exercise alone as a permanent weight loss tool. Our clients enjoy a balanced life without becoming dependent on exercise to maintain a healthy weight.

Yes! Health is a journey and keeping focused on improvement is part of a healthy lifestyle. We tailor our work to meet you where you’re at and then take you to optimal health. We’ll guide you on what to maximize, what to minimize, and what to prioritize in order to experience optimal health.
